Seriously, I wrote the first copy one year ago, right in the middle of several moves--as in moving from one place to another with five other people. Stressed out was an understatement. So, yes, it was awful. I was so mad I put so much work into something only to realize it wasn't good enough. I thought about changing some things to make it better, but, in the end a total rewrite was in order.
I'm much happier with the new result, even if it's not ready to go live for readers. Has anyone else ever done this? Wrote something in a hurry or because of stress, or something else, only to find they really need to redo the whole thing from (almost) scratch?
